Analysis of Google Analytics - Mélissa SCOTTO’s blog - 10527320

As a student in the Master of Science in Digital Marketing at Dublin Business School, we had to post 5 articles on our blog about Big Data, generate traffic and analyze it with Google Analytics. 
The analyse will be from the blog’s creation, the 28th of January, till today, the 25th of February. 

Audience Overview: 



Thanks to this analyse, we can see that the most effective day was on the 25th of February with 67 users.
The blog has been visited 336 times by 159 users. 
In average, users had 2.11 sessions and watched 2.6 pages per session, which makes the number of page views of 873. 
71% of users were new visitors, so 29% were returning visitors.
The average session duration is 2 minutes and 24 seconds. 
The bounce rate is high, around 55%. That means that around 45% of users stay on the website. This rate can easily be understood when we have a look at the language and country of the users.




After added all the similar languages together, we can see that the most important rates are for French with 47.2%, due to my first language, following by English with 46,58%




On 159 users, 68 were from France, 58 from Ireland, 25 from the United States. The other visitors were from the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, India and Réunion.



Acquisition Overview: 


























Thanks to this overview, we can see where what is the source of the main users. 
In that case, they are mainly social for 62.2%, because I posted the links on my social networks and direct for 23.4%, by clicking directly on the link. 



Behaviour Overview: 


Thanks to this report, we can see that 873 pages were viewed, with 613 unique pages. 
The average time on page is 1 minute 30 seconds. 
The bounce rate is 55.06% and the exit rate is 38.49%.

The most visited page is the home page, which represents 26.35% of page views.
The most viewed blog post is « the 3Vs of Big Data », which represents 17.07% of page views.
